The Oxford Society for International Development (OxSID) is a young, fast-growing student-run society founded in 2017.

We aim to promote and facilitate discussion of the challenges and advances within the field of International Development amongst students at the University of Oxford. Previous speakers include members of NGOs such as Reporters without Borders, board members from leading UK think tanks, senior officials from the UN in New York, a co-founder of Extinction Rebellion and the Permanent Secretary of the UK’s Department for International Development.
